God is my strength

I am convinced that life becomes more fulfilling when one believes in God. Through prayer, we can recharge our minds and open ourselves to positive energy through positive thoughts. In prayer, we are close to God. I will never forget the words of a priest who once said:

“Listen into the silence, and you will hear God knocking.”

Only this one sentence had such a powerful impact on me that it changed my inner self..

I am absolutely convinced that God can free us from addictions and dependencies if we believe in Him. There are many, indeed thousands of examples of how depressed people, drug addicts, alcoholics, and nicotine-dependent individuals have experienced healing through the helping power of prayer. Prayer is a source of strength that supports, strengthens, and heals us. When people recognize God and accept Him as a helper, they will surely be guided by Him. Faith liberates, and life changes under the influence of faith in God. He can perform the unimaginable, releasing new forces and new energies within us.

IThrough this, I was able to receive wonderful help. God showed me the right and lasting path to inner healing. He transformed someone who was almost doomed, like I was, into a new person. With His strength, He moved me to turn my life around. My life today would be unimaginable without my faith.

The voice of God is within each of us. He speaks daily through His Spirit into our everyday lives. Try it yourself and listen within, just as the priest mentioned above so convincingly expressed. Perhaps God could be someone you can turn to.

God has given us humans the ability, the gift, and the talent to shape our lives meaningfully. He has also entrusted us with the responsibility for our body, our soul, and our mind. However, He did not give us the command to exploit and destroy our lives recklessly through excessive eating or through alcohol, drug, and nicotine consumption. But as humans, we have free will and can decide for ourselves how we want to live our lives.

The greatest gift I have received through my faith is the joy of life and the certainty of being loved and supported by God. From this free source of energy, I draw spiritual nourishment every day. I thank God for this. Place your spirit in God’s hands as well and experience the bliss of spiritual freedom.

Come, Holy Spirit,
I invite You
into my life.
Show me who You are.
I open
the door of my soul to You.
Live in my heart,
transform it,
and make it able
to love without limits.

Strengthen me for good.
Guide me on a good path.
Let me recognize what is right.
Comfort me when it is hard.
Give me courage when I need it.
Be with me every day.
Pray within me every second.
Let me experience You in my life.
Amen.
