Do you know the fastest way to become a non-smoker? Just stop lighting cigarettes. It’s that simple. But many smokers who want to break free from their nicotine addiction can tell you that it’s not quite that easy. Nicotine is a dangerous drug that creates dependence very quickly. The cigarette, a so-called happiness booster for the brain, is one of the most addictive substances out there.
I strongly advise anyone who doesn’t smoke to never start. By now, I know several people who smoked for decades and deeply regret it today. Some of them have already died from the consequences of their addiction. I, too, came to regret ever having started smoking. I was foolish back then, and just one single cigarette was enough to get me hooked for nearly forty years.
I can't even count how many times during those years I made the resolution to quit smoking. It was many. But only when the fear of mouth and lung cancer hit me did my brain finally react.
Today, I feel fantastic, and I’m truly happy that I managed to free myself from this devilish weed.
