LECTURE - content
Konrad Fissneider born on 08.09.1957 in Brixen where he still resides, has been active in addiction prevention since 1987 and delivers lectures in schools and to people of all age groups.
It is his own life story that reveals many shocking, horrific, and negative memories from his past. From 1969 to 1984, he was deeply addicted to alcohol, medication, and drugs, and was often close to death. Suicidal thoughts, fear, indifference, self-destruction, as well as helplessness and hopelessness, accompanied his life. Everyone who knew him had already given up on him—until the great miracle of his turnaround happened.
With great empathy, Konrad Fissneider tries in his lectures to highlight all the dangers and serious consequences that drug addiction can bring when one is at the mercy of drugs. He also explains how he today deals with his own problems and difficulties—ones he previously tried to numb with medication and drugs or drown in alcohol. With great openness, he also talks about his faith, which gives him new strength every day.
He wrote an autobiography titled „Ich ging durch die Hölle“ in 2003. The book was translated into italian"Ho superato linferno" in 2005.
